SEAoT San Antonio // January 2022 Chapter Meeting

The next meeting of the SEAoT San Antonio Chapter will be held on Tuesday, January 25th, 2022.  We will be hosting our Chapter meeting via GoToMeeting.  A meeting invite will be sent to registered participants prior to the meeting.

Topic: Professional Practice Update / Ethics

Presenter: Mr. Michael Sims, PE - Director of Compliance and Enforcement, TBPELS

Mr. Sims currently serves as the Director of Compliance and Enforcement with the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. He has been with the Board since June 2018. Michael previously was the Special Projects Manager and Manager of Environmental Permits within the Oil & Gas Division of the Railroad Commission of Texas and worked in Air Permits at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. He holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and has been a licensed professional engineer since 2010.  

Summary: The presentation will discuss the following topics:

Time: 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Cost: Free for current members and UTSA registrants.  $10 for non-members.
