The next meeting of the SEAoT San Antonio Chapter will be held on Tuesday, March 17th, 2026. We will be hosting our meeting at Old San Francisco Steak House.
Topic: San Antonio International Airport Terminal C
Summary:
The focus of this presentation will be to discuss the overall design of the new Terminal C and the challenges faced by the architectural and structural team to balance the programmatic requirements with the overall design goals.
Presenter: Mr. Jeff Olivares, AIA - Senior Associate, Lake Flato
Jeff is a Senior Associate in Lake Flato's Urban Studio and is a project architect working on the San Antonio International Airport Terminal Development Program. Jeff has extensive experience in a variety of project types ranging from historic renovations and adaptive re-use to higher education facilities and urban-scale projects. He has worked on multiple mass timber projects in the south Texas region including Trinity University Dicke Hall and the first mass timber office building in the Greater Houston area at One Bridgeland Green. He excels at navigating the complexities of large-scale initiatives and leading large multidisciplinary teams to create innovative and sustainable architecture.
Presenter: Mr. Tenaj Pinder - Project Designer, Corgan (Architect of Record)
Tenaj has over nine years of experience in aviation design and planning of a range of aviation projects including architectural detailing, planning and airline space renovation, airport planning and design and other airport task projects. In addition, Tenaj collaborates with other designers in the studio to maintain the firm design and brand objectives. Work efforts have contributed to airport authorities, air carriers, airport tenants, airport concessionaires both in the United States and abroad. Tenaj's role generates multiple solutions for any give client-drive program. As a design leader, Tenaj motivates and delegates to the project team to meet project goals and maximize effectiveness while maintaining ownership of outcomes.
