The next meeting of the SEAoT San Antonio Chapter will be held on Tuesday, October 21st, 2025.  We will be hosting our meeting at Old San Francisco Steak House.

Topic: Risk Drivers 3

Summary:

Risk Drivers 3 is AXA XL’s latest update to the propriety review and analysis of our Design Professional claims data. This program looks at the claims data to identify underlying or root cause issues that result in a loss prevention file or a claim (demand for money) being made, not the actual event or incident behind the claim. Understanding and managing these risks is critical to mitigating claims in your practice.

Presenter: Mr. James (Jim) Jimmerson, Vice President, USI Southwest, Inc.

James (Jim) Jimmerson is currently a Vice – President of USI Southwest and has been in that position since 2005. He has been involved in the Architects/Engineers professional liability insurance division of CIC and USI since 1993. He actively participates in the risk management and daily professional liability insurance needs of over 400 firms in central and south Texas. Jim earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M in 1986 and a Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M in 1993.

Time: 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Proceeds from meeting dues will contribute to the end of year fundraiser event.
