Dear Members:

The next meeting of the SEAoT San Antonio Chapter will be held on Tuesday, February 22nd, 2022. We will be hosting our Chapter meeting via GoToMeeting. A meeting invite will be sent to registered participants prior to the meeting.

Topic: AISC - Innovations in Steel

Presenter: Mr. Alex Morales, Associate AIA, EDAC, LEED GA

Summary: The presentation will discuss the following topics:

Understanding framing systems that achieve low floor-to-floor heights and long spans for economies of construction cost and schedule
Learn how steel fabricators can provide strategic ideas for cost-effective and time-saving project performance
Recent structural steel innovations
Manufacturing steel Wide Flange (WF) shapes and Hollow Structural Sections (HSS)

Time: 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Cost: Free for current members and UTSA registrants. $10 for non-members.
