SEAoT SA // August 2025 Chapter Meeting

The next meeting of the SEAoT San Antonio Chapter will be held on Tuesday, August 19th, 2025.  We will be hosting our meeting at Old San Francisco Steak House.

Topic: Smart Solutions for Rehabilitating Compromised Structures

Summary:

This session will be focused on the use of injection of high density polymers ("HDP") to lift settled concrete slabs and to densify supporting soils.  This process has been utilized in North America since 1988, on a wide variety of projects ranging from interior slab settlement of residential, commercial and industrial structures to TXDot bridge approaches.  The science behind the process will be explained and a number of case studies will be reviewed.

Time: 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Cost:

• $40 for Non-Members
• $15 for UTSA Faculty and Students

Proceeds from meeting dues will contribute to the end of year fundraiser event.
