SEAoT San Antonio // September 2024 Chapter Meeting

Dear Members:

The next meeting of the SEAoT San Antonio Chapter will be held on Tuesday, September 17th, 2024.  We will be hosting our meeting at Old San Francisco Steak House.

Topic: The Evolution of Carbon Fiber Design and Construction

Presenter: Erik Guggenheim, President, Delta Structural Technology

Erik Guggenheim is the President and Managing Partner at Delta Structural Technology. He has a Bachelor of Science from West Texas A&M and MBA from Harvard Business School. For the past 26 years he and the team at Delta Structural Technology have been pioneers in the Carbon Fiber Design and installation with over 2,500 completed projects around the world. These projects include the Alamo Quarry smokestacks, Allen High School Eagle Stadium, Kalahari, Pontchartrain Bridge, and many more. His expertise is working with structural engineers and building owners to find the best cost solutions for their building strengthening needs and bringing a multi optional approach to construction. The end result is a best-in-class construction process and avoiding costly pit falls in unforeseen building conditions.

Time: 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

• $10 for UTSA Faculty and Students

Proceeds from meeting dues will contribute to the end of year fundraiser event.

Registration will be open until Friday, September 13th at 2pm (CDT).
