SEAoT San Antonio // August 2024 Joint Meeting with ACI

Dear Members:

The next meeting of the SEAoT San Antonio Chapter will be a joint meeting with the ACI San Antonio Chapter on Tuesday, August 20th, 2024.  We will be hosting our meeting at Old San Francisco Steak House.

Topic: New Shear and Lap provisions of ACI 318-22

Presenter: Manuel Diaz, Ph.D., P.E., ABET PEV

Our speaker is Dr. Diaz. a Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, and Construction Management at the University of Texas at San Antonio. In addition to his role as Professor, he also serves as the faculty advisor for the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Society for Hispanic Engineers, and the American Concrete Institute student chapters.

Time: 11:45 am - 1:00 pm

Cost:

• $28 for Members
• $38 for Non-Members
• $10 for UTSA Faculty and Students

Proceeds from meeting dues will contribute to the end of year fundraiser event.

Registration will be open until Friday, August 16th, 2024 at 12 pm (CDT).
