Young Member Service Award

The Young Member Service Award, new in 2022, recognizes a young member's or members’ involvement in the organization early in their career. Deserving nominees should demonstrate outstanding leadership, service, and contributions to a student chapter, local chapter, and/or the state organization and have professional character, ethics, and performance commensurate with such recognition.

Application Requirements

1. Nominee's name & contact information
2. Nominee's age
3. Nominee's noteworthy contributions to SEAoT
4. Nominee's positions held within SEAoT (w/dates of service)
5. Name and contact information of nominator

Selection Guidelines

1. Recipients shall be individual members of SEAoT.
2. Recipients shall be selected based on the criteria indicated in the description of the award.
3. An Award Committee shall consist of a Chairman with members representing each chapter.  The Chairman shall be appointed by the State Board and the Chairman shall appoint each committee member.  The Chairman shall administer the program and report committee activity to the Board.
4. The program shall be financed by general contributions by SEAoT, as approved by the Board of Directors.
5. The recipient will be announced at the SEAoT State Conference.
