Topic:
Disagree Agreeably
Abstract:
As long as there is more than one person working in an office there will be disagreements. Left unresolved, they can waste time, foster resentment and negatively affect productivity. It's important to accept disagreements as learning opportunities and address them in an agreeable manner.
What you'll learn: This webinar focuses on acknowledging disagreements in an agreeable and professional style so that a harmonious work environment is maintained. Gain insight into your own reactions to discord, and practice expressing yourself in an acceptable way. Learn to be more tolerant of alternate viewpoints and discover six rules for disagreeing agreeably.
Why you want to learn it: Learning to communicate in a non-confrontational way creates a more united workforce. When you are willing to accept differing viewpoints and rationally explain your own, you're much more likely to maintain mutual respect and a positive relationship. Positive relationships yield acceptance and satisfying outcomes. This journey into self-examination will enable you to better understand how to promote unity in the workplace. You'll learn to communicate without negativity, and you'll be able to answer that age old question, "Why can't we all just get along?"
At the end of this session, you will be able to: Identify personal hot buttons and your role in disagreements.
