Topic: How Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) Unites Teams for Better Projects (1.0 PDH)

Presenter:  Eric Homburg, PE., SE.; Ashish, PE.

Abstract:

This presentation is designed to inform the stakeholders in the AEC industry of an up-and-coming project delivery method called Integrated Project Delivery (IPD). IPD seeks to optimize efficiency and reduce waste through a unified team environment and shared risk-reward structures. In addition to teaching the characteristics of IPD, the presentation will involve a discussion with the audience regarding how real projects benefit from or could have benefited from early and intentional collaboration.
